DVLS and the Delaware Civil Clinic provide representation to victims of domestic violence in custody cases and cases in which Child Protective Services is involved and is not investigating the caller.

Assistance with visitation is limited to cases involving victims of domestic violence and other special circumstances.

Assistance with divorce is limited to cases involving victims of domestic violence or custodial children who are victims or where there are special needs related to divorce or property division. 

DVLS does not provide assistance with adoptions. Contact the Lawyer Referral Service to hire an attorney for a fee.
